About Soul Centre

Soul Centre is an integrated Toronto wellness destination that includes Soul Spa and Soul Café. Our team supports a professional, organized, client-focused environment across wellness, aesthetic, administrative, and café operations.

About the role The Medical Aesthetician provides professional skincare and aesthetic treatments within training and qualifications. The role focuses on consultations, treatment delivery, client education, treatment-room standards, aftercare, rebooking, and a high quality spa experience.

What you will do

- Conduct client consultations and recommend appropriate non-medical skincare and aesthetic treatment programs. • Perform approved facials, exfoliation treatments, chemical peels, laser or energy-based aesthetic services, and other treatments where properly trained and authorized.
- Explain treatment preparation, expected results, aftercare, skincare routines, and home-care products. • Maintain accurate treatment notes, client records, consent documentation, and service information. • Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms, equipment, devices, linens, and supplies in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor treatment-room inventory and report low stock, damaged supplies, or equipment concerns.

• Support appropriate rebooking, client retention, and retail product education.
- Refer clinical or medical concerns to the nursing team or other appropriate regulated healthcare professional. • Maintain a professional, welcoming, discreet, and client-focused environment.

What you bring

- Recognized Medical Aesthetics diploma/certificate or equivalent training.
- Hands-on experience in a medical spa, aesthetic clinic, or advanced skincare environment is preferred. • Training/certification for any laser, energy-based, microneedling, peel, or advanced device services to be performed. • Strong knowledge of skincare, sanitation, contraindication screening within role scope, and aftercare. • Strong client consultation, customer-service, documentation, and product-education skills.
- Qualified presentation, reliability, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Ability to recognize when a concern requires referral to a regulated clinical professional.

Employment terms

- This position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term, part-time employment contract. The parties may begin renewal discussions around month 10, or at another mutually agreed time. Renewal is not automatic and any extension or renewal must be confirmed in writing. Employment, including any early termination, will be administered in accordance with the Employment Standards Act, 2000 and other applicable Ontario law.

- No employer-sponsored health or dental benefits are currently available; advantages may be introduced in the future. All statutory entitlements, including applicable vacation pay, public holiday pay, protected leaves, minimum-wage requirements, and other Employment Standards Act, 2000 entitlements, remain unaffected.
- Booking-based work model: employees are scheduled to work only when client appointments are confirmed or when specifically assigned paid duties. There is no unpaid on-site standby requirement and no guaranteed minimum number of weekly appointments.
- Required setup, consultation, treatment, charting, sanitation, and other employer-directed duties are working time and are included when assessing statutory wage entitlements.
- Minimum-wage protection: because these roles are commission-only, total wages for hours worked will be reviewed each pay period and topped up where required to meet Ontario minimum-wage requirements. • No-show protection: if a confirmed client no-shows after the employee has been scheduled and the appointment cannot be replaced, the employee will receive 50% of the commission that would ordinarily have been earned on the scheduled service. Any greater statutory amount required under Ontario law, including the three-hour rule where applicable, will prevail.

Accessibility & inclusion

Soul Centre is committed to inclusive and accessible employment practices. Accommodation is available on request throughout the recruitment and selection process in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.

How to apply

Apply through LinkedIn with a current resume. A brief cover note is welcome but not required. Only candidates selected for the next stage will be contacted.
