Mill Production Worker

Polycor Ebel Quarries| Wiarton, Ontario

On-site | Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm.

Pay: $21.50-$25.00 CAD per hour, based on experience

Ebel Quarries, a Polycor company, is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Mill Production Worker to join our stone-production team in Wiarton, Ontario. This hands-on position assists with operating stone-processing equipment and producing quality natural-stone products.

Responsibilities

- Operate or assist with stone-processing machinery, including blade or belt saw equipment, as trained and authorized.
- Cut and process stone according to production requirements and specified dimensions.
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy and visible defects.
- Safely handle, move and organize stone, tools and production materials.
- Monitor equipment and report maintenance, quality or safety concerns.
- Perform routine cleanup and help maintain a safe, organized production area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Assist with other mill duties as production needs require.

Qualifications

- Previous manufacturing, machine-operation, stone-processing or industrial experience is an asset, but training may be provided.
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around production equipment.
- Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding work.
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to approximately 23 kg/50 lbs.




- Comfortable working in a noisy and dusty production environment.
- Dependable, detail-oriented and committed to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to the work location.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
