Propack Processing and Packaging Systems Inc. is a dynamic, fast-growing, local company that has been providing custom robotic packaging solutions for a wide variety of packaging applications and formats since 1996. All integrated systems are configured and supported by the Propack controls team, overseeing mechanical and electrical design, programming, commissioning, and customer support.

Overview

We are seeking two skilled and experienced Millwrights to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling, installing, commissioning, servicing and repairing sophisticated food packaging machinery and equipment in our facility in Beamsville and at our customers' sites, primarily in the United States and Canada.

These are full-time positions that offers competitive pay and benefits

Duties

- Install, assemble, service, and dismantle machinery and equipment according to drawings, schematics, and manufacturer instructions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, making necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment
- Fabricate and modify parts as needed using various tools and equipment




- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document maintenance activities
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Millwright in an industrial setting
- Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machinery installation and repair
- Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrated knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and procedures
- Proficient in reading drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
- Familiarity with industrial electrical work
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other machinery effectiely
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
