Ore is then transported to surface via a modern one thousand eighty metre deep shaft capable of forty-eight hundred tonnes per day. We are looking to hire a Mine General Foreperson (Mine Captain) to join our Bell Creek Mine team in Porcupine, ON. , on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate may begin as soon as possible. Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position. The role of the Mine General Foreperson will be responsible for day-to-day scheduling and controlling of the functional mine site activities in a safe and efficient manner.

You will direct mine operations through front-line supervisors. Reporting to the Mine Superintendent, the Mine General Foreperson will have the following responsibilities: Responsible for the health and safety of all personnel in their charge as well as contractor personnel, ensuring safety incidents are thoroughly investigated and recommendations implemented Day-to-day scheduling and control of the functional mine site activities Ensure that all personnel in their charge know and follow the company’s policies, procedures,
