Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Mobile Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing unauthorized access, and responding promptly to incidents. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to handle emergency situations effectively. Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security is highly valued.

Responsibilities

- Deliver mobile security services utilizing company vehicles to conduct patrols, inspections, and incident response across assigned locations.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with Dispatch and Operations using radios and mobile reporting tools.
- Identify and address unsafe conditions, hazards, security breaches, and unauthorized activity; perform building, grounds, and security equipment inspections.
- Secure and preserve evidence or incident scenes; deploy barriers or signage and provide direction to tenants, contractors,



or the public as needed.
- Complete accurate and detailed logs, mobile reports, and written incident documentation using proper grammar and standardized formats.
- Observe, assess, and report all security incidents, suspicious activities, or emergencies to clients, management, and public safety authorities in accordance with company protocols.
- Respond to emergencies including fire, medical, alarms, floods, hazardous conditions, elevator entrapments, and severe weather using established procedures and training.
- Perform additional duties consistent with the role and operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Valid Alberta Security License (ABST)
- Valid Class 4 or Class 5 (Non-GDL) Driver’s Licence with clean abstract
- 2–3 years of Mobile and/or Tactical Security experience
- Use of Force Training (CTSS/PPCT) – Mandatory
- Proficiency with online reporting systems and mobile applications
- Current Standard First Aid – Level C with CPR/AED
- Exceptional verbal de-escalation and conflict management skills (NVCI is a strong asset)
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong report-writing capability
- Physically capable of meeting the demands of mobile security operations




- Availability to work weekends, statutory holidays, and dynamic schedules
- Ability to follow digital post orders, GPS navigation, and mobile reporting tools.

- Use of Force Certification – PPCT/CTSS or equivalent recognized
