JUNIOR MOTORCYCLE TECHNICIAN
Novera Bespoke – Hotrod Edition
77 Martin Ross Ave, North York, ON
Full-time or part time | On-site | Hourly, based on experience
ABOUT US
Novera Bespoke is a Toronto-based luxury automotive atelier specializing in high-end parts, wheels, carbon fibre, and custom work. Hotrod Edition is our motorcycle division — Harley-Davidson, Indian, BMW, and one-off custom builds. We're growing fast and building a proper bike bay at our North York location.
THE ROLE
We're hiring a junior motorcycle technician to work under our master technician on Harley-Davidson service and custom builds. The focus is Harley — bagger, softail, and touring platforms — plus full customization work: performance upgrades, suspension, exhaust, bodywork, and one-off builds.
This is a hands-on learning position. You'll be in the shop three to five days a week, wrenching on real Harleys and custom projects from day one, with a master tech directing the work and walking you through anything mechanical you haven't seen before.
You don't need years of experience. You need to be reliable, careful, and want to get good at this.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist on Harley-Davidson custom builds from teardown through final assembly
- Perform Harley service and maintenance: fluids, brakes, tires, belts, primary, electrical basics
- Install aftermarket parts and accessories — exhausts, air intakes, handlebars, controls, lighting, fairings, bags, and bodywork
- Help with customization work: stretched bags, audio, lighting, paint prep, and fitment of custom components
- Organize parts and keep the build bay clean and staged
- Document work progress with photos and notes
- Learn diagnostic procedures under supervision
- Follow the build plan and timeline set by the master technician
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Some hands-on mechanical experience — motorcycle, automotive, or small engine. Trade school, an apprenticeship, or serious personal wrenching all count.
- Comfortable with hand tools and basic shop equipment
- Able to follow instructions precisely and ask when unsure
- Detail-oriented — these are premium builds and finish quality matters
- Reliable and on time
- Valid Ontario driver's licence; M licence is an asset
- Harley-Davidson experience — your own bike, a dealership, or a custom shop — is a strong asset
- Interest in the custom bagger and hotrod scene is a big plus
WHAT WE OFFER
- Direct mentorship from a master motorcycle technician
- Real build experience on high-end custom Harleys, not just oil changes
- A clear path to a full technician role as you develop
- Hourly wage based on experience, reviewed at three months
- Growing company with a second location opening in Florida
HOW TO APPLY Send a short note about your background and any photos of work you've done. No formal resume required — we care more about what you can do than how it's formatted.
Novera Bespoke is an equal opportunity employer.
