Role: Network Engineer- Load Balancer (NSX AVI)

Location: Remote in Ontario

Mode: Contract

Visa: Canadian Citizen or PR

Note: Shift Schedule:

- Shift Timing: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM US EDT
- Winter Hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST
- Shift Duration: 12-hour fixed shift
- Schedule: Holidays and weekends included
- Week 1: Work on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Week 2: Work on Wednesday and Thursday.
- Total Hours: Week-1 : 60 Hours
- Week-2 : 24 Hours

Key functions include:

● Providing second-level network Incident Management and Patch management for Load Balancer and Firewalls

● You will also work on service restoration, sustainability, and proactive service improvement.

● Participating and at times leading Major Incident conference calls and can identify required resources. Provide full Root Cause Analysis for any production outages.

● Implementing repeatable move, add, changes for security and proxy services.

● Responsible for Lifecycle implementation projects and building support documentation.

● Functioning as a point of contact for other engineers for Incidents and Changes.

● Employing production monitoring tools to ensure that all systems are running and available.

● Ensuring effective communication to internal customers.

Qualifications

Must-Have Requirements (Skills / Experience):





● 3 yrs experience in IT Network Operations

● Experience with Load Balancing platforms such as Citrix ADC and NSX ALB

● Experience of working as part of a global team

● Technical networking ability to troubleshoot Network Security environments, Tools, etc.

● Teamwork: establish and maintain effective and appropriate working relationships with those contacted during the workday

● Experience with working as part of a Global 24*7 support model

● Strong customer service skills. Good temperament, ability to handle stressful situations, and provide customer-facing support in a qualified manner.

Preferred Requirements (Skills / Experience):

● Experience in Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA) and Citrix or NSX-ALB

● Familiarity with IT governance standards and compliance including ITIL and SOC

● Knowledge of networking infrastructure suppliers and service offerings including: Cisco, Aruba, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Riverbed

● Strong analytical skills, able to use complex data to find opportunities, recognize problems and draw logical conclusions.

● Ability to produce and present technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel

● Teamwork: establish and maintain effective and appropriate working relationships with those contacted during the workday
