: The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Manager, Clinical Services ICU/PACU. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. As a member of the Nursing department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Education

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Critical Care Nursing certificate (CCN)

Other Education and Training

- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Critical Care Nursing certificate (CCN)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Nursing diploma is acceptable

Other Information

- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives
- Unqualified candidates must be willing to take the Critical Care Nursing (CCN) training in a specified time.
