JLL is seeking an Operations Lead for a prominent client in Port Moody. The Lead will oversee Facilities Management scope at four client locations within British Columbia. The Lead will also interact closely with the client and ensure expectations are met and the team is providing exceptional service. The ideal candidate is comfortable in aspects of site administration, management reporting and overall maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

- Performs and/or directs the performance of all contract service requests, ensuring that work performed in these areas is accomplished efficiently with a minimum amount of disruption and inconvenience.

- Supervises and implements the preventative maintenance program.

- Ensure that work performed in client space is accomplished with a minimum of disruption and is followed by adequate cleanup

- Perform/supervise maintenance, monitoring repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, for the facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned

- Review monthly client service request summaries to pinpoint and correct recurrent operational problems

- Evaluate vendors and suppliers on a regular basis with regard to quality and competitive pricing

- Prepare and submit Work Orders





- Work with the client to approve and schedule tasks/projects

- Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory

- Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors

- Perform additional job duties as requested

Qualifications

- 5+ years of maintenance operations experience in an industrial workplace

- Supervisory and contract or management experience

- Certified Electrician, HVAC technician or other trade or an engineering degree is an asset.

- Ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required

- Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel

- Must be available for Call-in work and perform other duties as required.
