Duties
- Assist with the preparation and processing of medical or laboratory documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols
- Support the maintenance and organization of laboratory or retail inventory, including optical products if applicable
- Engage with customers or clients to provide product information, answer questions, and facilitate sales transactions
- Utilize Epic or similar electronic health record systems to document patient or client interactions accurately
- Contribute to the management of retail sales processes, including stock replenishment and visual merchandising
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and uphold quality standards in all tasks
- Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to enhance knowledge of medical terminology, optical products, or retail management practices
Requirements
- Prior experience in laboratory settings, optical environments, retail sales, or related fields is preferred but not necessary.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with Epic or comparable healthcare software is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Experience in retail management or sales is a plus
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and procedures while maintaining attention to detail
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Relevant educational background or certifications related to healthcare, optics, or retail management are desirable
