Oracle Database Manual Tester

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada – Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Manual Tester to support enterprise banking applications. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in Oracle Database testing, SQL, backend/data validation, and manual testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Oracle database, backend, and data testing using SQL.
- Develop and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and regression test plans.
- Validate tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and data integrity.
- Perform data reconciliation and identify data discrepancies using complex SQL queries.
- Execute backend validation, database validation, and data migration testing.
- Log, track, and troubleshoot defects with development and QA teams.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.




- Support testing activities within banking or financial services applications.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in Oracle Database Testing and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Manual Testing, Backend Testing, and Data Validation.
- Strong knowledge of tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Experience in data reconciliation and data integrity testing.
- Good understanding of defect management and regression testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services, preferably enterprise banking applications.
- Experience supporting large-scale data or database-driven applications.
