Oracle Database Manual Tester

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Manual Tester to support enterprise banking projects in a hybrid role based in Toronto, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform Oracle database testing, backend testing, and data validation.
- Create and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and regression tests.
- Validate tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and data integrity.
- Write and execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems.
- Analyze test results and identify data-related issues.
- Log, track, and troubleshoot defects in collaboration with development and QA teams.




- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Support end-to-end testing and ensure database changes meet business and technical requirements.

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database and SQL.
- Solid experience in Manual Database Testing / Backend Testing.
- Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and integrity testing.
- Robust understanding of test case creation, execution, and regression testing.
- Banking or financial services experience is highly preferred.
