We are currently seeking a leadership personality to fill the full time, permanent position of Outreach Program Supervisor. Driving to areas outside Calgary, such as Cochrane and Airdrie will be required and a travel budget will be provided.

Position Summary:

As a Program Supervisor, you will incorporate front-line supervisory functions and direct support/service responsibilities. This position will have direct supervision of staff and oversee a caseload of individuals accessing services. The diagnoses of these individuals vary but may include Autism, FASD, Global Developmental Delay, ODD, issues with sexual exploitation, addictions, and physical impairments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- On-boarding and supervising Outreach Support Workers
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program including establishing routines and brainstorming new ideas
- The completion, submission, and monitoring of required program documentation
- Ongoing awareness and demonstrations of familiarity with program and Agency policies and procedures
- In conjunction with senior leadership, oversee the implementation of program activities that are consistent with program goals and procedures, and align with the Agency’s philosophy and policies
- Monitoring the development and implementation of Individualized Service Plans
- Handling end-to-end new intake procedures
- Act as a liaison between program staff,



the Program Coordinator, and other management
- Maintaining relationships with guardians, supportive roommates, and/or other involved entities
- Uphold legal standards such as Health & Safety, WCB, and Risk Management for the program and the Agency

You will bring:

- A degree or diploma in Rehabilitation Studies, Human Services, or other closely related and medically relevant degrees or diplomas
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience providing direct supports to adults with physical and/or mental health issues
- Leadership experience in medical or other support care fields is a must
- Experience aiding in program development and implementation
- An established leadership background with experience in supervising groups, team building, and program implementation
- Case management experience is preferred
- A positive attitude and belief that persons with disabilities have the right and responsibility to define and pursue their life choices, and have active involvement in their community
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong computer/software skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills

Hours & Location:

- Standard hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. with statutory holidays off.




- Work locations will be both out in the community and from the CLAS Head Office.
- Participation in an after-hours on-call rotation may be expected but would not run as an overnight responsibility.

Other:

- Must have a reliable vehicle and personal car insurance containing third-party liability coverage set at two million dollars ($2,000,000.00)
- Must have a Class 5 or better driver’s license that has been issued in Canada
- A willingness to transport individuals and staff in your personal vehicle as needed
- Driving to areas outside Calgary, such as Cochrane and Airdrie will be required
- Successful candidate will need to produce Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sectors Search results

Experience:
- medical or disabilities sector leadership: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
