Job Summary

We are seeking talented and detail-oriented Painters to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in both commercial and residential painting projects, paired with a strong understanding of construction and surface preparation techniques. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, selecting and applying appropriate paints or finishes, and achieving high-quality results that meet or exceed client expectations.

The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and their own reliable vehicle. Some projects may require travel, for which accommodations and a living allowance will be provided.

You will collaborate with clients and team members to assess project requirements and ensure timely completion of tasks. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent craftsmanship, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering superior results on every project.

Duties

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the appropriate materials and techniques for each project.




- Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals to ensure seamless integration of painting work with overall project goals.
- Conduct touch-ups and repairs as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Utilize caulking techniques to seal gaps and improve the durability of painted surfaces.

Skills

- Proficiency in commercial painting techniques and tools.
- Experience in spraying interior and exterior projects
- Experience with commercial and multi-residential painting projects, including interior and exterior applications.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive client relationships.
- Ability to read and understand construction schematics and blueprints an asset
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
