Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Painting Estimator & Project Manager to join our team. This pivotal role combines the precision of construction estimating with the leadership of project management, ensuring high-quality painting projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to client specifications. Responsibilities

- Review and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to accurately estimate project costs and scope of work.
- Prepare comprehensive construction estimates utilizing industry-standard software such as HeavyBid, ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6.
- Develop detailed project schedules and timelines using Primavera P6 or similar project management tools to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather bids, negotiate contracts, and establish project budgets.
- Oversee project execution from start to finish by managing resources, schedules, and quality standards while adhering to safety regulations.
- Utilize construction management software to track progress, update schedules, manage change orders, and maintain accurate documentation.




- Conduct regular site visits to monitor work quality, ensure adherence to plans and specifications—including schematics—and resolve issues promptly.
- Lead project meetings, communicate progress updates clearly, and manage client expectations effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience

- Proven experience in construction estimating with a robust understanding of blueprint reading and schematics.
- Demonstrated success managing painting or related finishing projects within the construction industry.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid or equivalent tools.
- Strong knowledge of heavy civil or general construction processes and safety standards.
- Familiarity with civil design software like Civil 3D is a plus for coordinating complex projects.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in project management roles within the construction sector is highly desirable.
