We are seeking a motivated and energetic Part Time Cook to join our team! In this role, you will be cooking brunch on Saturdays Sundays between 9:30am to 3:00pm, you could also get an extra hours by working morning prep on a weekdays, This position offers a flexible schedule perfect for individuals passionate about food.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are consistently met
- Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers, maintaining excellent customer service at all times
- Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Support the team during busy periods by helping with meal assembly and food prep tasks
- Adhere strictly to food safety protocols, including proper handling of ingredients and temperature controls
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Strong serving skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards guests
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience in the food industry is advantageous but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
