HCRS Industries Ltd. is looking for an experienced Parts Manager to take ownership of our Parts Department and support our busy commercial truck and trailer repair operation in Aulac, New Brunswick.

For 25 years, HCRS Industries has provided commercial truck and trailer repair and maintenance services to customers throughout the Maritimes. We are a locally owned and operated company with an established team and a busy repair facility located near the New Brunswick/Nova Scotia border.

We are looking for someone who knows the heavy-duty parts business, understands the importance of getting technicians the right parts quickly, and can effectively manage inventory, suppliers, purchasing and day-to-day parts operations.

The Position

As Parts Manager, you will be responsible for the overall organization and performance of the HCRS Parts Department.

Your primary responsibility is simple: make sure our technicians have the right parts at the right time while maintaining accurate inventory and controlling parts costs.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Parts Department
- Source and order heavy-duty truck and trailer parts
- Identify parts accurately using supplier catalogues and online systems
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing where appropriate
- Monitor purchase costs, margins and parts profitability
- Maintain accurate inventory quantities and pricing
- Perform and oversee regular cycle counts and inventory adjustments
- Maintain appropriate stocking levels for commonly used parts and shop supplies
- Reduce obsolete, duplicate and slow-moving inventory




- Receive and verify incoming parts and supplier orders
- Coordinate parts requirements with Service Advisors and technicians
- Ensure parts are properly assigned and billed to repair orders
- Track backordered and special-order parts
- Process and monitor cores, warranties and vendor returns
- Assist with outside/customer parts sales when required
- Maintain an organized, clean and efficient Parts Department
- Help develop better purchasing, inventory and parts-control procedures
- Work closely with Service Management and ownership to improve overall shop efficiency and profitability

Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate has previous experience in a heavy-duty truck, trailer, equipment or automotive parts environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.

You should have

- Robust knowledge of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts
- Previous parts management, parts supervisor or senior parts advisor experience
- Strong parts identification and sourcing abilities
- Experience working with multiple parts vendors and suppliers
- Inventory management experience
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- An understanding of parts margins, purchasing and inventory control
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to prioritize in a busy repair-shop environment




- The ability to work effectively with technicians, service staff, suppliers and customers
- A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
- A valid driver's licence

Experience with shop-management or inventory-management software is an asset.
