Lead Our Parts Department and Drive Operational Excellence

Duncan Dodge is looking for an experienced, customer-focused Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for inventory management, departmental profitability, team leadership, and delivering exceptional support to both our service department and retail customers.

The ideal candidate is an organized and analytical leader with a strong automotive background and experience using the PBS Dealer Management System (DMS).

Key Responsibilities

- Manage all daily operations of the Parts Department.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels through effective forecasting, ordering, and stock management.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including gross profit, inventory turns, fill rates, and obsolescence.
- Utilize the PBS Dealer Management System to manage purchasing, inventory control, reporting, and departmental performance.
- Support the Service Department by ensuring parts availability and efficient workflow.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEM and aftermarket suppliers.
- Lead, mentor,



and develop Parts Department team members.
- Oversee cycle counts and annual inventory processes to ensure accuracy.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to retail and wholesale customers.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements, dealership policies, and safety standards.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of automotive dealership parts leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of automotive parts inventory management and purchasing.
- Experience with the PBS Dealer Management System is considered a significant asset.
- Proven ability to manage inventory effectively while maximizing profitability.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
