Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts with precision and flair
- Develop new recipes and presentation styles to keep our menu fresh and exciting
- Ensure all baked goods meet high standards of quality, taste, and visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food preparation tasks efficiently, including measuring ingredients and assembling finished products
- Package baked items attractively for display or take-out orders
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate service times and fulfill customer orders promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting
- Strong skills in cake decorating, baking techniques, and food presentation
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes
