This motivation is met with opportunities to move to an operator role when appropriate.
The immediate role will consist of general laborer around the paving crew such as shoveling and raking asphalt. In addition help will be needed in traffic accomodation such as setting up work zones where needed.
Shift
On average,
the work day is generally 12 hours a day and the shift is 10 days on and 4 days off, 5 days for holidays. The work takes place all over the province and will continue until the weather turns too cold to operate.
Wages
$20-$25/hour starting wage
Overtime after 8 hours
$120/day living allowance
Wages will be negotiable based on experience.
