Complete Utility Contractors is looking for an experienced Skid Steer Operator / Labourer to join our paving crew.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable operating a skid steer but is equally willing to get out of the machine and work alongside the crew. This is not a full-time equipment operating position.

The successful candidate will have experience working around asphalt, roadwork or civil construction and understand what it takes to keep a paving crew moving efficiently.

What You’ll Do

- Safely operate a skid steer to support paving operations
- Use sweeper and other skid steer attachments as required
- Assist with grading, base preparation and site cleanup
- Move gravel, asphalt and other materials
- Support asphalt placement and paving activities
- Operate plate tampers and other small equipment
- Perform general labor duties including shoveling, raking and cleanup
- Work closely with the paving crew and Foreman to maintain production
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Keep equipment and work areas clean and well maintained
- Follow company and site safety procedures at all times
- Perform other duties as required to support the crew

What We’re Looking For
- Previous skid steer operating experience required
- Previous paving,



roadbuilding or civil construction experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the shift
- Experience working around asphalt and paving equipment is an asset
- Ability to safely operate around workers, equipment and active traffic
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation to various job sites
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Safety-conscious with positive communication skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a crew
- Willingness to work longer hours when paving schedules require it

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
