About The Current Open Role

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to navigate complex automotive payrolls, we want to hear from you.

What We're Looking For

- Take the lead in processing Group bi-weekly/monthly payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes, with a focus on automotive industry-specific pay structures.




- Ensure compliance with Ontario's Employment Standards Act (ESA) and federal payroll, wage, and hour laws. Stay updated on changes to regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and assist in preparing and distributing payroll reports to management as needed.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, providing timely and accurate information.
- Utilize Reynolds & Reynolds and ADP to maintain accurate employee records, hours, and payroll data.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health and dental and other benefit programs.
- Process employee benefit enrolments, terminations, and changes.
- Support the administration of RRSP plans.
- Assist with payroll and benefits budgeting, reporting, and accrual processes.
- Communicate benefits information, updates, and notices to employees.
- Provide ongoing administrative support for payroll and benefits programs.

What You'll Bring

- Possesses a valid Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Payroll Leadership Skilled (PLP) certification.
- Proven working experience and proficiency with ADP.
- 3+ years of full-cycle payroll experience.
- Dealership experience and experience with Reynolds & Reynolds are strong assets.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario's Employment Standards Act (ESA)



and federal payroll regulations.
- Highly organized, sharp attention to detail, and an approachable communication style.
