We are looking for a passionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing private clinic in Richmond, BC!

We provide individualized, play-based, family-centred, and neurodiversity-affirming occupational therapy to children and youth ages 2–19, with a primary focus on supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing differences, fine and gross motor challenges, executive functioning difficulties, and other developmental needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for an OT who enjoys working directly with children and families and wants to be part of a fun, supportive, collaborative, and neurodiversity-affirming pediatric therapy environment.

Job Overview

- Complete occupational therapy assessments for children and youth ages 2–19 (formal & informal assessments).
- Develop individualized, functional treatment goals based on each child's strengths, interests, needs, and family priorities.
- Provide engaging, play-based, evidence-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming OT interventions.
- Support children with sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, handwriting, self-care, executive functioning, social participation, and other functional skills.
- Work primarily with children with ASD, ADHD, developmental delays, and other neurodevelopmental differences.
- Provide primarily clinic-based services, with the option of virtual/community sessions in a fully equipped pediatric therapy environment.
- Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals involved in the child's care.
- Provide families with practical strategies and home programs to support carryover outside of therapy sessions.
- Complete timely documentation, including assessment reports, treatment plans, progress notes, and other clinical documentation.

Qualifications





- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience working with children and/or youth is required.
- Pediatric occupational therapy experience is an asset.
- Experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing differences, or other developmental needs is an asset.
- Comfortable collaborating with parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals.
- Someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and is comfortable using play as a therapeutic tool.
- Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming and child-centred care.
- Ability to work independently while also being open to mentorship, collaboration, and feedback.
- Additional language skills are preferred, particularly Cantonese, Mandarin, Punjabi or another language commonly spoken by families in the community.
