Performance Tester

Location: Toronto, Canada

Years of Experience: 5-7 Years

Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Performance Testers to join our team at CIBC on an urgent basis. The ideal candidates will possess strong hands-on experience in performance testing, particularly with LoadRunner and NeoLoad. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking, enabling you to define the technical foundation, establish governance frameworks, and mentor a growing design system team.

Responsibilities

- Define and implement performance testing strategies and methodologies.
- Develop and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner and NeoLoad.
- Analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights to improve application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments to ensure performance testing is integrated into the development lifecycle.
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics,



and Splunk to assess application performance.
- Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in performance testing.
- Drive adoption strategies for performance testing within the organization.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner and NeoLoad.
- Positive understanding of performance testing methodologies and lifecycle.
- Experience in scripting with languages such as C or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with NFV (Network Functions Virtualization) is a deal breaker.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in performance testing.
