Job Overview The keyholder will be responsible for day-to-day operations in the store under the direction of the franchisees, store manager & assistant manager, including opening/closing duties, front end/cash, stock deliveries and restocking, basic store maintenance, maintenance of promotional programs and handling online orders.

Outstanding customer service is a top priority; we love to hear positive customer feedback. Should be available for any hours that the store is open, 32-40 hours/week; shifts will include a combination of evenings, days and weekend shifts so flexible availability is required. Could include working at locations in either the East or North of Burlington.

- should have a love of animals and some basic knowledge.

must be friendly, outgoing and enjoy dealing with the public. must be able to handle heavy, ongoing lifting(up to 50 pounds) including carryouts during the shift and early morning deliveries.





- must be willing to learn & upgrade product knowledge on an ongoing basis including completion of online learning courses.
- putting away stock from deliveries when scheduled for delivery day(early a.m. delivery), restocking shelves from overstock to keep the stockroom clear & shelves full. This involves some strenuous physical work.
- cash register operation and associated paperwork.
- proper rotation of date & label sensitive products and tracking out of date products & markdowns.
- ensuring correct sale signage is in place for promotional activity.
- maintaining store appearance, keeping it clean and organized, includes proper care of any animals in the store.
