Job Summary

Join our agile healthcare team at Argyll Wellness Centre as a Physiotherapy Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and well-being. Duties

- Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans by preparing treatment areas and equipment.

- Support patients with exercises, mobility activities, and therapeutic interventions under supervision.

- Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, documenting observations accurately.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.

- Help with patient transportation within the facility and ensure comfort throughout their sessions.

- Communicate effectively with patients to provide encouragement and answer basic questions about procedures.





- Ensure all documentation complies with medical terminology standards and confidentiality protocols.

Qualifications

- Prior hospital experience or exposure to acute care environments is highly preferred.

- Solid understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices.

- Demonstrated commitment to patient care with compassionate communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in quick-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and clinical priorities.
