Position: Piano Instructor

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging piano lessons to students ranging from beginner to advanced levels
- Design individualized lesson plans based on each student’s abilities, learning style, and goals
- Monitor student progress and provide clear, supportive feedback
- Prepare students for RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) examinations, recitals, and performances
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and structured learning environment
- Maintain open and skilled communication with parents regarding student progress
- Participate in school activities,



concerts, and special events when required

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
- Demonstrated experience teaching piano to students of various ages and skill levels
- Strong piano performance skills and solid understanding of effective teaching methodologies
- RCM certification (ARCT or equivalent) is required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, dependable, and genuinely passionate about music education
- Knowledge of music theory and music history is considered an asset

Preferred Assets
- Advanced degrees or additional credentials in music or education
- Proven experience preparing students for RCM exams, festivals, or competitions
- Familiarity with both classical and contemporary piano repertoire
- Creative and adaptable teaching approach
- Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
- Warm, enthusiastic, and child-friendly teaching style
