We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Piano and Voice Instructor who can inspire students of all ages to discover their musical talents and develop their skills.

- You are able to teach both piano and voice
- We are hiring for Mondays or Tuesdays evenings, 2:30 - 8 pm (possible Saturday mornings 9 am - 1 pm)

Duties

- Develop customized lesson plans for piano and voice students based on their skill levels, goals, and interests
- Conduct engaging, energetic lessons that incorporate proper technique, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages students’ confidence and creativity in both piano playing and singing
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve steadily
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, or exams by guiding practice routines and stage presence




- Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, and student achievements
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about student progress and upcoming events

Experience

- Proven experience teaching piano and voice lessons to diverse age groups, including children and adults
- Robust background in tutoring, teaching, or classroom instruction with an emphasis on early childhood education
- Experience working with children in educational or extracurricular settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of music theory, vocal techniques, and piano pedagogy (Grade 8 level for one instrument and strong secondary skills for the second)
- Ability to create fun, inspiring lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles
- Prior experience with classroom management or group instruction is a plus
- Familiarity with basic music-related activities such as singing exercises or simple cooking projects related to music themes is beneficial
- Technically savvy
