Palagio Pizza is hiring: Pizza Cook / Kitchen Team Member

Palagio Pizza is looking for an experienced and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our team. We’re looking for someone with previous professional kitchen experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and takes pride in preparing quality food.

Pizza-making experience is a strong asset but is not required. The right candidate should have a solid understanding of kitchen operations, food preparation, cleanliness, and food safety, and be willing to learn our recipes and pizza-making process.

What we’re looking for:

– At least 1 year of previous professional kitchen or restaurant experience

– Pizza-making experience is an asset but not required

– Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen

– Able to work independently and as part of a team

– Reliable, punctual, and responsible

– Available to work evenings and weekends

– FoodSafe certification is an asset

Pay and perks:

– $20–$23/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities include:

– Preparing and cooking pizzas according to Palagio Pizza recipes and quality standards

– Preparing dough, sauces, toppings, vegetables, and other ingredients

– Portioning and organizing ingredients for service

– Operating pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

– Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift

– Following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures





– Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen equipment and work areas as needed

– Assisting with preparation of other menu items when required

– Ensuring orders are prepared accurately and consistently

– Following all health and safety requirements

Skills we value:
