Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas and other dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
- Follow recipes and food preparation guidelines to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients such as dough, sauces, toppings, and other pizza components
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Serve customers efficiently by ensuring timely delivery of freshly made pizzas
- Support overall food service operations by assisting team members during busy periods
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in pizza or meal preparation roles
- Knowledge of cooking techniques relevant to pizza making and general kitchen practices
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in pizza preparation such as ovens, mixers, and knives
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable
