We are currently looking for a versatile, reliable, and customer-focused Postal Outlet Clerk and Cashier to join our team.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Post Office Manager and the Assistant Manager, your time will be shared between servicing customers at our busy Canada Post Outlet counter and supporting front-of-store operations.

What You Will Do (Duties and Responsibilities)

- Postal Operations: Service Postal Outlet customers accurately and efficiently as per Canada Post training, handling mail, shipping labels, and parcel returns.
- Front Store Support: Operate the front store cash registers and process customer purchases courteously.
- Merchandising & Stocking: Stock shelves, face merchandise, price inventory, and keep retail displays clean and organized.
- Inventory Control: Check stock for expiration dates, rotate products on the floor, and assist with daily inventory tasks.
- Customer Service:



Provide superior quality service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner across all areas of the store.
- Communication: Maintain transparent, positive communication with customers, fellow employees, and management.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Flexibility: Must be fully flexible and reliable to work a rotating schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Experience (Preferred):
- 1 year of Canada Post Training / Experience preferred
- 1 year of Retail Sales preferred
- 1 year of Customer Service preferred

Physical Ability: Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours, climbing ladders, and safely lifting/moving product boxes and mail bins weighing up to 50 lbs. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their sales and customer service skills within a vibrant postal outlet setting. Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
