JOB STATEMENT :
This role is responsible for leading and coordinating Private Wealth marketing, business development, and client engagement initiatives, including campaigns, communications, digital and social media content, events, sponsorships, and business development opportunities across GPI and GCA. The position oversees the creation, management, and distribution of client- and prospect-facing materials, supports RFP/RFI submissions, maintains business development and referral tracking systems, conducts market and prospect research, and ensures all communications align with brand, business, and compliance standards. In addition, the role provides executive support to the President,
facilitates team coordination and communication, and drives process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, client service, and business growth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lead the coordination and execution of the Private Wealth marketing calendar, including campaigns, newsletters, client communications, digital content, social-media activity, events, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities.
- Coordinate the development, review, approval, production, and distribution of client- and prospect-facing materials, including pitch books, brochures, presentations, invitations, email campaigns, and other collateral.
- Draft, edit, proofread, and maintain professional communications that are aligned with approved brand standards, business messaging, and compliance requirements.
- Plan and execute client, prospect, referral-source, and networking events, including invitations, logistics, vendor coordination, materials, attendance tracking, and post-event follow-up.
- Coordinate and consolidate business-development opportunities across GPI and GCA, ensuring activities, priorities, and follow-up actions are clearly tracked.
- Conduct research on prospective clients, markets, competitors, centers of influence, and industry developments; prepare concise summaries, insights, and recommendations for the Private Wealth team.
- Maintain accurate and current prospect, referral-source, business-opportunity, and follow-up trackers, and help ensure next steps are completed on time.
- Build and maintain an RFP/RFI database and coordinate submissions, including information gathering, content development, formatting, internal approvals, and delivery.
- Support the development and execution of client-engagement initiatives, including email campaigns, educational programs, events, referral activities, and social-media initiatives.
- Facilitate Private Wealth team meetings, document key decisions and action items, and ensure relevant information, priorities, and best practices are communicated across the team.
- Identify and implement practical process improvements for marketing, client communications, business-development tracking, event planning, collateral management, and internal coordination; bring forward recommendations with proposed timelines and next steps.
- Provide executive support to the President, including calendar and meeting coordination, preparation of briefing and presentation materials, management of priority follow-up, and other administrative support required to enable effective leadership and client service.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- University degree – preferred major in business
- 3+ years’ experience in the financial industry, preferably the private wealth business
- Experience building databases and proficient with Salesforce
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Robust time management and interpersonal skills
- Understanding the team culture, and leverage the offering of GCG as required
COMPENSATION :
- The base salary range is expected to be between $65,000 - $85,000, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
