STATS Group supports energy and industrial clients with innovative engineering and manufacturing solutions. We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to support machining-related sourcing and supplier management activities.

The Opportunity The Procurement Specialist – Machining Services is responsible for sourcing and managing machining services, machined components, tooling, and raw materials required to support manufacturing operations.

This role works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, and Quality teams to ensure supplier performance, cost effectiveness, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Source machining services, machined components, raw materials, and tooling.
- Review engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
- Develop and manage machining vendor relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance and quality metrics.
- Resolve supplier non-conformance and delivery issues.
- Coordinate procurement activities to support production schedules.
- Maintain purchasing records,



vendor data, and procurement reporting.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in machining, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and manufacturing practices.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
