We're building a marketing team capable of supporting our 2027 growth and expansion targets, and the Social Media Coordinator is a key execution hire on that team.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to join our Head Office team and take ownership of supplier sourcing, pricing, negotiations, and procurement intelligence across our growing franchise network.

The successful candidate will work closely with franchisees, suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and internal management to ensure our locations have access to competitive pricing and reliable supply.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Sourcing & Management

· Identify and evaluate suppliers and manufacturers across Canada.

· Build strong relationships with suppliers and support franchise purchasing needs.

· Research market pricing across roofing, siding, decking, fencing, and interlock.

· Compare pricing, products, and market share to identify the best purchasing opportunities.

· Monitor and update pricing information monthly, quarterly, and annually.

Negotiation & Cost Optimization

· Negotiate competitive pricing, volume discounts, rebates, and tiered agreements.

· Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve overall purchasing value.

Franchise & Product Support





· Support 40+ franchise locations with product sourcing and supplier recommendations.

· Review supplier price sheets and identify products and pricing most relevant to the business.

· Maintain product assemblies/configurations for franchise locations.

New Market & Labor Research

· Research new territories to identify suitable brands, suppliers, and product options.

· Research contractor and installation labor rates to support market expansion and pricing decisions.

Reporting & Database Management

· Maintain accurate supplier, product, and pricing information in company databases.

· Provide procurement insights and recommendations to management

Requirements:

· 3+ years of experience in procurement & purchasing.

· Experience in the construction industry (roofing-siding-decking-interlock)

· Solid understanding of construction materials, suppliers and manufacturers

· Understanding of data management

· High attention to detail and accuracy particularly in pricing and quality control

· Ability to manage multiple suppliers, projects, and franchisee requests simultaneously.

· Capability to work independently and take ownership of procurement projects from research through implementation.

· Strong communication and relationship-management skills.

· Effective Negotiation skills and experience in dealing directly with suppliers

· Bilingual in English and French is a plus
