Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Production Assistant to join our team. As a Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production of plastic parts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the manufacturing of plastic parts, which includes mixing and weighing material. Sorting, counting, and packing parts. The occasional use of hand tools.
- Read production sheets for accuracy.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment
- Collaborate with other team members.
Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to learn.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues is a plus.
Requirements
- Ability to be on your feet all day, lift 25kg comfortably, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
