Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will orchestrate the production planning process to ensure optimal efficiency, timely delivery, and seamless coordination across all manufacturing operations. Your expertise in demand planning, ERP systems, and supply chain management will drive continuous improvement and help meet our production goals.

Responsibilities

- Liaises with various departments, including but not limited to, Graphics, Customer Service and Sales on an on-going basis to create a Production Schedule for all internal/external machines which will ensure all orders are met in a timely manner while meeting all quality standards;
- Reviews production schedules on an on-going basis with appropriate departmental Team Leads, including printing, lamination, converting and slitting areas, to ensure customer order levels are being accurately met within production targets and reschedules production dates if necessary; chairs all scheduling meetings on a daily and/or weekly basis with appropriate key staff in order to ensure all issues or potential issues are dealt with promptly and do not impact production or quality levels;
- Undertakes to learn the complete manufacturing process, including production and printing of all products,



in order to gain sound product knowledge which can be used in the purchasing process and dealing with customer service issues;
- Maintains all related files for all areas of responsibility, in an accurate, organized and current manner in order to ensure that information is readily available for all authorized individuals;
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Proven experience in manufacturing or production scheduling within a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum college graduation.
- Minimum 3(three) years related experience in a related role preferred, but not essential.
- Detail oriented with an excellent analytical and mathematical aptitude
- Computer literate and fully proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Dynamics an asset,
- accurate alpha/numeric keyboarding skills
- Solid knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle; experience with MRP modules is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with demand planning techniques and supply chain management principles.
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing practices to streamline operations.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for data-driven decision making.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
