We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Program Supervisor to lead and oversee our senior care programs. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities within assisted living or nursing home settings, ensuring compliance with care standards and regulations
- Lead and support caregiving staff through coaching, training, and performance evaluations to maintain excellence in service delivery
- Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols
- Coordinate resident care plans, including assessments related to dementia care and senior-specific needs
- Manage program budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation for efficient operations
- Foster a safe workplace by implementing safety protocols and responding promptly to emergencies or incidents
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to enhance resident care and satisfaction
Experience
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a focus on senior care
- Demonstrated supervising or leadership experience in healthcare or long-term care settings
- Knowledge of dementia care practices and medication management protocols
- Familiarity with budgeting, staffing schedules, and regulatory compliance in healthcare facilities
- Strong communication skills to effectively lead teams and engage with residents' families
- Prior experience with medication administration procedures is highly desirable
