This is a unique opportunity to work at the front end of major energy infrastructure projects, helping evaluate, shape, and advance strategic growth opportunities across Western Canada. Working closely with business development, engineering, commercial, and operational stakeholders, you will lead feasibility studies, scoping activities, cost estimating, and project development initiatives that help transform concepts into executable projects.

Responsibilities:

- Manage external engineering consultants and specialist service providers
- Collaborate with business development, commercial, regulatory, and operational teams
- Lead early-stage project development and opportunity evaluation activities
- Develop project scopes, concepts, and preliminary execution strategies
- Prepare capital cost estimates and project economics inputs
- Coordinate feasibility studies, technical assessments, and scoping exercises
- Evaluate infrastructure opportunities and identify strategic growth initiatives
- Support decision-making through clear recommendations and development planning

Requirements:

- Hold a degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or a related Engineering discipline
- Possess 10+ years of project management experience within the energy industry
- Demonstrate experience supporting early-stage project development and planning activities
- Understand pipelines, gas plants, processing facilities, or export infrastructure projects
- Develop estimates, scopes of work, feasibility studies, and business case documentation
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Build strong working relationships across multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and a broad understanding of Western Canadian energy markets
