Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience. Must be comfortable logging core with minimal supervision while managing a single drill program.
Schedule / Terms of Employment: Fieldwork starting fall of 2026. Greenfield exploration within the province of BC. 2 weeks on/2 weeks off shift rotation.

Primary Responsibilities
· Core logging for surface diamond drilling programs, including lithologic, alteration, veining, and mineralization details
· Manage QA/QC and sampling protocols with a high level of attention to detail and consistency
· Communicate professionally with clients, providing regular updates and discussing project progress, results, and recommendations
· Completing cross-sections in a timely fashion and providing interpretation in drill holes summaries
· Conducting drill rig inspection for safety and environmental compliance
· Conducting field visits for dill hole shutdowns
· Managing geotechnicians and core cutters while fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
· Aptitude for job-related learning to improve technical knowledge, skill set, and to follow recent industry trends
· Enforcing and modeling HEG’s safety and environmental protocols and procedures
· Other field duties as required.
Qualifications
· A minimum bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field
· 3+ years experience in exploration geology completing tasks like geoteching, core logging and sampling, managing cutters and core shack personnel, etc.
· Excellent knowledge of exploration program requirements, the Mines Act, and industry QA/QC standards
· Self-motivated and able to perform and communicate effectively within a dynamic and evolving environment.
· Excellent inter-personal skills together with an ability to facilitate commitment to a cooperative team effort
· Good communication skills, both orally and written
· Self-starter who can anticipate project needs and work independently, with minimal supervision
