Position: Quality Specialist

Location: Longueil, QC

Duration: 12 month contract + possible conversion to perm or additional renewal

Onsite: 5x weekly

Pay: $45-65/hr The Quality Specialist supports aerospace manufacturing programs by ensuring product quality, supplier compliance, and on-time delivery across the supply chain. This role bridges quality engineering, mechanical design knowledge, supplier management, and project coordination, working closely with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to prevent defects and resolve issues efficiently. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of mechanical components, aerospace standards, and end-to-end supply chain quality, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality, or related field Experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments





Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, GD&T;, and manufacturing processes

Experience working with suppliers and supply chain partners

Hands-on experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions

Robust organizational and project coordination skills

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience with AS9100 / AS9145 / AS9102

Supplier quality engineering or supplier development experience

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and quality management systems (QMS)

Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma)

Experience supporting audits and customer quality requirements
