Vistech Manufacturing, Ontario is a Tier 2 automotive manufacturing company producing and assembling automotive components for major customers. Located in Stratford, Ontario, we are currently recruiting for AFTERNOON shift for new business growth.
- Midnight Shift - Sunday - Thursday from 11:00pm - 7:00am (overtime on weekends as required)
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct Inspection of production cell prior to start of shift to ensure all scrap has been sorted through and reported on scrap sheets.
- Conduct First off and last off inspections, incoming inspections, and dock audits.
- Member of the internal layered audit team, completing audits and reports as required.
- Conduct containment inspection for start of new programs.
- Ensure all parts are assembled according to all work instructions and in the most safe and efficient manner.
- Responsible for working within all health and safety standards and responsible for identifying concerns.
- Demonstrate a leadership role in quality inspection
- Responsible for issuing and managing QPR’s (Quality Supplier Problem Reports and RMA follow ups.
- Responsible for identifying kaizen’s and any work cell improvements, identifying work instruction changes/updates, and other improvements to help make jobs easier and more efficient through suggestions and implementation.
- Responsible for creating and updating boundary samples.
- Responsible for investigating all internal and external quality concerns.
- Contribute to all corrective actions to customers when necessary.
- Responsible for understanding and following all quality instructions.
- Ensure disposition of all items and product is addressed (ie: material on hold, scrap, etc.).
- Assist Quality Manager with any data collection and/or inputting.
- Responsible for understanding and following all quality instructions.
- Demonstrate professionalism and respect with other employees and customers.
- Provide feedback of quality issues to employees and lead hands in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates a leadership role plant wide.

Starting Rate is $22.55. Midnight shift premium is $1.00/hr.
