Role Description The Reach Truck Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Vancouver, BC, responsible for safely operating reach trucks and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading pallets, replenishing and picking orders from racking systems, and staging products for shipment according to established procedures. The role involves performing routine equipment inspections, reporting maintenance needs,



and following safety protocols to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.

The Reach Truck

Operator works closely with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure accurate stock placement, efficient space utilization, and timely order fulfillment. This position may also support basic documentation, such as confirming quantities, recording movement of goods, and assisting with cycle counts as needed.

Qualifications

- Proficient reach truck operation skills, with experience using forklifts or other material handling equipment in a warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including pallet racking systems, order picking, loading/unloading, and inventory handling procedures.
- Ability to follow safety protocols, conduct basic equipment inspections, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Basic numeracy and documentation skills to verify counts, record product movement, and support inventory accuracy.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with supervisors, warehouse staff, and logistics personnel.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move materials within reasonable limits, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid reach truck or forklift certification (or ability to obtain), with prior experience in a logistics, distribution, or warehousing setting preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; familiarity with warehouse management or inventory systems is an asset.
