We are a small boutique practice in based out of Coquitlam, BC, and are excited to be expanding our small team serving the Tri Cities and beyond! At The Nook, we are committed to providing thoughtful, high-quality care to our community! Our work is grounded in individualized care, collaboration, and genuine connection, both with our clients and with one another as clinicians.

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Clinical Counsellor or Registered Social Worker to join us! This role involves providing counselling and psychotherapy services to individuals aged 15+ from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

We have a steadily growing practice and are looking for someone to get started with us soon! Experience and training in EMDR is a requirement.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Providing individual, couples, and/or family counselling sessions in person, with the option to include virtual sessions
- Offering evidence-based interventions and therapeutic approaches
- Completing clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Collaborating with other professionals to ensure holistic and comprehensive care when needed
- Participating in regular supervision and clinical consultation (we hold monthly peer supervision meetings)
- Working collaboratively to build and maintain a steady caseload

What We’re Looking For

- A Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Current registration with a relevant regulatory body (e.g., BCACC, BCCSW)
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience providing counselling for concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and related issues
- Completed EMDR training or in the process of completing
- Knowledge of and experience with ADHD and neurodivergence preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, supportive team
- A commitment to ongoing skilled growth, self-care, and ethical practice
- Someone who is available 3+ days/ week (minimum 15 bookable hours/ week)



on any of the following days/ times including an evening and weekend day:
- Mondays: Daytime/ Evenings
- Tuesdays: Evenings
- Wednesdays: Daytime/ Evenings
- Fridays: Daytime
- Sundays: Datime/ Early Evenings

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $90.00-$110.00 per hour
