Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform dental prophy, and support the overall oral health of our patients. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, patient-focused environment with a focus on education and preventive care.

Experience with digital dentistry is highly valued.

The Dental

Hygienist will collaborate closely with the dentist and dental assistants to ensure exceptional service and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Perform dental prophylaxis
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Assist in identifying oral health issues and communicate findings to the dentist
- Maintain accurate patient records using our software
- Support orthodontic procedures
- Ensure compliance with all safety, sterilization, and infection control protocols




- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns professionally and empathetically
- Assist in scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and maintaining a welcoming environment

Requirements

- Valid Dental Hygienist license
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Prior experience in a dental office environment is highly desirable
- Ability to work well within a team-oriented setting and maintain a qualified demeanor at all times
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and sterilization standards
- Previous experience with dental assisting is a plus but not required

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
