Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care

Location: Fort St John, British Columbia, Canada

Contract Duration: Sep 6th, 2026 - Jan 8th, 2027(Min for 30 days)

Employment Type: Contract

Work Environment: On-site (Hospital Acute Care Unit)

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver nursing care to patients with acute and complex medical needs
- Perform patient assessments and implement care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical changes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient records and EMR documentation
- Follow infection control, safety, and nursing practice standards

Qualifications

- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Active BCCNM Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to practice in British Columbia
- Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care nursing experience




- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification considered an asset
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Benefits & Compensation

- Pay Rate: $48–$58 CAD per hour
- Travel: Fully covered for approved travel expenses
- Accommodation: Fully provided or reimbursed
- Contract Length: Sep 6th, 2026 - Jan 8th, 2027(Min for 30 days) with extension opportunities
- Overtime & Premium Pay: OT, DT, travel time compensation, and statutory holiday pay as applicable
- Scheduling: Day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts based on facility requirements
- Prospect to gain experience across multiple healthcare facilities in Northern British Columbia
