Responsibilities
- Provide services within the scope of practice of a Registered Massage Therapist, including conducting guest assessments, establishing treatment goals, delivering therapeutic massage treatments, and maintaining accurate guest records.
- Deliver exceptional guest care and maintain the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary spa and salon team to support guest wellness goals.
- Ensure all treatment rooms are clean, organized, and maintained in accordance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma from an accredited massage therapy college in Canada (required).
- Registered and in good standing with the Massage Therapists’ Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS) or another recognized provincial body.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for guest care.
- Experience in a spa or multidisciplinary setting is an asset—however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Training in additional modalities (i.e. hot stone, prenatal massage, etc.) is an asset.
- Commitment to continued learning and professional growth.
