Start with an 8-week orientation program designed for your success:

- First 4 weeks: Medicine/Surgical unit with a consistent mentor to build your foundation.
- Next 10 shifts: Rotate through specialized units including Sills 3 (Acute Stroke/Rehab), Sills 4 (Complex Continuing Care), BSTU (Behavioral Support), TCU (Transitional Care Unit), Trenton In-Patient Unit, and Picton In-Patient Unit.
- After a few months, once confident and comfortable,



you’ll complete Emerge orientation—2 weeks in Belleville’s Emergency Department and 2 weeks in Trenton’s Emergency Department.
