Duties

- Perform detailed laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment plans
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and dental procedures with precision and care
- Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgical procedures to ensure patient safety and stability
- Provide compassionate patient care by administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain detailed medical records, update patient histories, and document all procedures accurately
- Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health strategies




- Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments and treatment areas to uphold safety standards
- On-call Rotation

Experience

- Proven laboratory experience in a veterinary or animal health setting is highly preferred
- Previous hands-on experience with animal restraint, sample collection, and diagnostic testing
- Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology and clinical protocols
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and educate pet owners
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
- Certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician from an accredited program is required
