Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Resident Attendant- Server to join our team, providing exceptional service and support within our Retirement Residence . In this role, you will serve residents with kindness and professionalism, assist with meal service, food preparation, and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our residents every day.

Responsibilities

- Greet residents warmly and serve meals with attentiveness, ensuring dietary preferences and restrictions are respected
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and safety
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, kitchens, and food handling stations in accordance with health regulations
- Support meal delivery by setting up tables, serving food efficiently, and clearing dishes promptly
- Monitor residents during meals to promote proper eating habits and address any special needs or concerns
- Follow all food safety protocols,



including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during busy periods

Skills

- Prior Retirement or nursing home experience is highly preferred
- Food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is advantageous
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking basics, and food safety standards
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
- Excellent time management skills to ensure smooth meal service operations
- Experience in food handling, meal preparation, serving, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
