Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated residential Class 3 truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate MUST live in Edson or the near surrounding area. They will be responsible for collecting waste and organics material and hauling it over short distances while adhering to all safety regulations.
Duties: - Work Schedule is Monday to Friday. Monday, Total weekly hours are about 30-32hrs. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are 4-5hrs each while Friday is a full day. This is why we are paying a dayrate of $275 which works out to $42-$45 per hour on a 30-32hr work week.
Requirements: - Proven work experience as a Truck Driver - Residential collection, frontload, roll off or knuckle boom picker considered an asset.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations - Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
